Ministry Landbouw, Natuur en Voedselkwaliteit
No Waste Network is an initiative from the ministry of LNV. The ministry stands for sustainable food, valued nature and the vital countryside. In this regard, the Netherlands has a series of large socio-cultural challenges it faces. Including reducing food waste, so that precious raw materials are lost less.

CARVE
CARVE is a multi-year public-private collaboration project and uses, among other things, the think and decision model that the Top Institute Food & Nutrition (TIFN) has developed for the optimization of supply chains. The Alliantie Verduurzaming Voedsel and Wageningen UR Food & Biobased Research started the CARVE project in 2015 to reduce food waste in the agri-food supply chain. For 4 years companies in the food supply chain, in the form of pilots, will get busy with knowledge, instruments and decision-models.
